I'm looking for pointers to good source for parts online. I already know about LMC Truck and Rock Auto. But I need to find a more complete source. For example, I need to replace what I believe are heat shields on the inside front fenders. ('90 F150 w/351W) I haven't been able to find them, or the funky plastic clips that hold them in.
My need for online sources is a but different than most people's. I live on an island so a "quick trip to the dealer" or going to a bone yard is an all day affair with a $50 ferry ticket, plus gas and food. It ain't just a quick trip downtown.
Edit to add: Aside from the obvious differences, how much is in common between the same year range Bronco and F150?
Fast Parts appears to be a retail front end to the Ford parts website, so anything at the Ford site can be ordered via Fast Parts. Unfortunately that seems to include only the most likely items, not a full parts catalog. OTH, it may be that a 1990 truck is too old for all the various bits and bobs to be still available via parts channels.
