47 tin bedliner ??

My 47 1/2t has a tin bedliner - beaded/embossed exactly where it ought to be (bolt holes and such). Looks very much like a factory piece might - except I've never seen another. Is this a factory piece? Just something I've always wondered about. Any info is much appreciated. TIA

The metal floor is actually stock. The wooden frame was under that. If I misspoke, someone will come along and correct me...

OK that makes perfect sense! The thing that threw me was that anytime I ever see one of these trucks they ALWAYS have a wood bed floor. Does everyone pitch the tin in favor of the better looking wood?

Yes, the embossed metal floor is the correct and original floor for these trucks. However most people usually do remove them when doing restorations and adding the wood floor since it does tend to look better. The other issue is that the original floors never had drain holes so the the bed would tend to rust out. Plus installing the original floor takes a lot of welding.
