fuel leak need input

my 04 f-550 has had fuel on the d-side frame rail for about a yr now.Been leavin g a puddle on shop floor also when parked.Took the tank down yesterday and noticed there is no hoses coming off the tank vents on top my tank. The 2 grey plastic ones.I,m pretty sure there should be some short hose coming off them and mounted above frame rail?We drained the tank and smoke tested it and found one of the on vents o ring was leaking so I ultra black silicone around both of those and added hoses to them.I,m also replacing the fill hose and steel neck.My buddy from the dealer brought me some extra 1 they had kicking around.Anyone else had this issue?I may have never put the hoses on 10 yrs ago when I mounted my deck not sure. but has fine for yrs.Hoping this is fixed now. Also replaced 8 ft of brake line that ran down the rail was looking pretty ugly and don,t need the headache in January during a storm when where plowing. Thanks for any input in advance guys.

The hfcm is mounted under the driver on the frame rail.. maybe changed filter and cracked cap? Or it is just leaking from twisted o-ring..
