2000 F150

Hello all,

Just traded in my 99 Dakota last week on a 2000 F150 Lariet supercab, 4x4 with the 5.4 v8. Needed something bigger to tow with.

This makes my second ford in the stable, the first is my 79 Ford Bronco. Its my daily driver, I also have a 95 Jeep Cherokee with 8 inches of lift and 38 inch tires. The F150 will be the tow rig and out of town vehicle for me as it wont get driven much in the city. I also have a 16ft car trailer and a 5x8 utility trailer.

The f150 has a few little problems that the dealer I bought it from has promised to fit, so after that I'm sure this board will come in very handy. I'm a regular on a few Jeep forums and I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions on this forum about the f150 as its in the newest nicest Ford I've ever owned and I know nothing about the triton motors.

mac 'good to own a nice ford again' gyvr

"macgyvr" Welcome to FTE, from Canyon Lake, Texas. I also have the 5.4L in my 2002 S'crew and really like it. My last Ford had a 7.3L PSD (2001 F250) which got better mileage, but had to sell it to buy the S'crew to pull behind my motorhome!
