I have a 95 f150 4x4 5speed Trans
I just had the Trans out to install new clutch slave and pilot bearing .
The shifter was sloppy due to worn out bushings I swapped out the top of the Trans with another top and shifter off a 5 speed that was recently rebuilt.
The gears all work fine
The problem I have is when I let off the throttle the Trans starts to grind and wants to come partially out of gear until I hit the gas and then it's fine
It accelerates smooth and quiet and shifts great
Could I have misaligned something when reinstalling the top?
Trans was in neutral upon installing the top
I plan on pulling the Trans this evening so any advice or help would be great.
Or any photos of the top inside of the Trans so I can have a referance it
