Yo, I've read posts regarding roll cages and the manufatureres. Most cages seemed wimpy or not intended to protect in a roll over event mainy for "show". What is the best protective type/manufacturer for a RC? Not that I intend to do a couple flops just wondering?
I think the only way to know for sure is to test them. Could we try several different ones in your Bronco and then flip it to see how well the hold up? LOL. Just kidding. Some do look a little wimpy. Why not have a local welder make you one up that will meet your own specs. It would probably not cost any more than ording one and having it shipping. Just an idea.
I like the idea of a "test" Bronco for roll cage integrity. Maybe we can take a coolection, make it an event.. babes, beer, broncos, etc. We'll draw numbers to see who is the "lucky pilot" for this experiment!!
I suppose carbon fiber is pricey and titanium is also, let me call NASA!
I'll drive to, i just hit a gaurd rail today at like 60mph with my company's work truck , it is totaled, we didnt roll, but im sure i could get it to if need be
