Where is the best place to buy some OEM rear leaf springs for a 2001 excursion 4x4 diesel??? Parts guy ed used to have some great prices. But I think he may be retired now. Mine have 270,000 miles on them and they are slap worn out. What about some low mileage used ones? All suggestions welcome!!! Thanks in advance!
Any certain person to talk to there or fte discount code?
You can ask for Steve. He's the one who usually posts on the forums, including this one. I believe he has a co-worker who also posts on the forum and helps us users out whenever Steve is busy, but I can't remember his name.
You can probably research their posts and threads in the vendor forum to get his name.
If you call directly, I believe any of the guys can help you out, just make sure you mention FTE and Tousley's supporting vendor status to make sure you get the discount pricing.
Give us a call, I can give you more of a discounted price because you are a forum member! You won't find the springs on our website but we have sold them countless times to guys across the country.
Your PSD is very heavy, don't know why you'd replace with stock (even new). I bet your front springs are all but inverted? Like mine were until I found my donor F-250s from a salvage yard (04 rear pair, and an 01 front pair).

Did not know we had another sponsor on here that sells springs also. That's great.
How close can you come to the OEM spring codes? All the places I've seen only come close to the to the OEM specs/spring rate of front and rear springs but advertise them as V/X or B/C codes then find out later that their a lesser spring rate.

We are happy to be on here. A lot of good people trying to help each other out.
Our springs, hangers, shackles etc are identical to OEM specs. However, what separates us from others in this industry is that we don't drop ship our products. We touch everything we send out so if you need something a little heavier or a little different to OEM we can tweak whatever you need to your wants and needs.

That's great. I'm saving for X/C code springs for my X so I'll be giving ya'll a call in the near future and what you can do.

Good catch Joe. I read his post differently than you did, but that's because I'm always thinking Ex owners are looking to upgrade by replacing with 250/350 OEM springs when they ask about OEM springs. I actually had to go back and re-read his post because I could have sworn he stated he was upgrading, but he didn't, so the OP may very well be thinking about replacing his worn springs with Excursion springs, and not upgrading them to the truck springs.
Greagin, were you planning on using Ex springs or truck springs?

I was wondering why you replied with information to get "stock Ex" springs.
whichever i can find at a better price, it matters not to me. i replaced the front springs a few years back so they are good, but my rears are just absolutely worn out. rides like a covered wagon in the rear. painful to hit a bump.
