Glastonbury State Forest
Did some exploring in the state forest today, pretty much just maintained dirt roads, some are a little rougher but its nothing serious. I went off the roads a few times onto little trails but couldnt get very far. Had fun being off pavement for once though

Is this what used to be known as the Nike Site? There's one Glastonbury/Marlborough I remember being at oh, 30+ years back this reminds me of it. Sunday was not a day to venture too far without plenty of warm clothes though lol ~Bill

Looks good miles. I used to love going in there with my old k5 blazer, too bad your truck is too big for the trails. Does the house at the beginning of the forest/end of pavement still have the carousel in the front yard? I always thought that was a neat house

yea my trucks a little big for any trail haha, i think i know what house you are talking about,, but not sure. ill have to look next time. i cant wait to drive through there after we get some snow

We did a lot of wheelin in those woods . One time I even popped out on rt2 at the top of a hill climb. Luckily it was after midnight and no one was on the highway. Still it was a very scary scenario
