SCT Xcal3 or Livewire??
So I finally got in touch with Gear head automotive and they are going to get me a custom SRL- tune for my 07 6.0 they said with the trucks set up all stock except turbo back exhaust, 38's and 8 inch lift that you wouldnt want to do any more than that but that it should fix my shift points and speedo. My question being I dont have other guages should I get some or should I go with the livewire or since I am getting a very mild tune do you think I would be ok with just the xcal3? Where is the best place to purchase one for price?

I'm curious as to why they wouldn't just give you the regular SRL tune? It's supposed to be safe for trucks with stock head bolts.
But to answer your question, just get the xcal and then buy an Insight or Scangauge to monitor everything.

So are these tuners just ford diesel specific or are they 6.0L specific and where would you buy one? I see some better prices online through over companies and through gearhead so if I bought one through them I could still get my custom tune through gear head correct?
