E4OD keeps breaking flexplates

My 95 f350 4x4 dump keeps breaking flexplates and I cant figure out why. crank doesn't seem to walk, replaced the driveshaft... trans had been broken by some plow cowboy... any thoughts? and does anyone have a another one or at least a case I can use?

There is a thin plate (1/8"?) that goes on the other side of the flexplate than the beefy one shown.
If that's missing I'd guess the bolts are putting too much stress on the plate.

Matt, if it helps I am in NE Ohio and have a flexplate, the thin spacer Jim is talking about and a full set of bolts. I'll make you a sweetheart of a deal on them. Shoot me a PM if that will help you in any way.

Dont the bolts go through it as a washer or is there supposed to be a thin plate on each side of the flexplate?

The small ring that goes on the "outside of the flexplate, IIRC, the bolts do go through it. It's essentially a big washer that all the bolts go through, then the flexplate, then the big chunky spacer, then into the crank.
