1991 FORD F150 ENGINE BUILD HELP

GUYS, I'AM OLD SCHOOL AND NEED HELP WITH THE NEWER
TECHNOLOGY. I JUST SOLD MY 65 FORD F100 BIG BLOCK AND BOUGHT
1991 FORD F150 5.0 SHORT BED. I WANT TO DO SOME ENGINE MODS TO THE TRUCK. BUT NOT SURE HOW RADICAL I CAN GO WITHOUT SCREWING UP THE COMPUTER. I'AM THINKING OF A SET OF HEADS, CAM, HEADERS AND ADDING A INTAKE AND CARB. I'AM ALSO RUNNING A E40D
TRANSMISSION . WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS WILL THIS CAUSE. AND CAN I JUST BYPASS THE COMPUTER. THANKS.

I'm not a pro at any of that stuff, but I have a 92 F150 5.0 4x4 and it does fine for me,with no mods and wotnot.I think if you want to build a motor up you should prolly think about a 351. I'm sure the guys will tell ya what you need as far as the 5.0 goes.
