rear POWER slider

I have done a search and it sounds like a couple guys may have installed a rear POWER slider, but I am not sure if they did in the 73 to 79 bracket.

Has anybody installed a power rear slider in a 73 to 79 truck??

My arms are to short to reach the rear window of my crewcab.

Check out this thread, it's about power rear sliders. Sounds like a good option for a super cab or crew cab...

I just installed one in my 79 crew and will be installing one in the 77. I used a CR Lawrence and it is nice. Really quiet and smooth operation and the installation and wiring is a snap.

Bushman,

How did you route the wires??

Were you able to use your old gasket seal, or have to get a different one?

Do you remeber what part number?

I found a shop near the town I live in that can get them, but they say they are not for the 73-79. But I went to the manufacturer website and they say they do, but you have to be a dealer. The guy I talked to barely could speak english.

Thanks for the reply.....

The back window is interchangable 73-96. Windshield is 67-79.
