Rebuilt Carb
My 66 F100 240 1v has been giving my troubles. I got a rebuilt Motorcraft 1101a and put it in. I ran for about 3-5 days..then started to have problems with it leaking after I shut off the engine. Was wondering if anyone know of a good place to get Rebuilts. This came thru AutoZone who special order it thru Remco...

Howdy, I drive a '65 F-100, it has a 1bbl. carb too. About ten years ago I replaced the original carb with a Tomco I-92. It came from a local parts house. Was reasonable priced too. Hope this helps. Lemme know how you do. Cheers, Pete

Thanks for the info..I found out the problem was not the carb but the fuel tank..it was all full of rust at the bottom of the tank..so the line would suck rust and plug the line..I installed a new tank and we are all better..
