i posted this a while back and i decided to let it go but since my trucks gunna be gettin fixed/painted i figure why not try to fix a little problems with it. anyway, when i start it up on a cold start (after sitting for about 6hrs) i'll crank it up and it'll start fine but then it'll idle up high and then as it idles down it stumbles and stalls. ill restart it and she'll start fine and run like hell. i changed the fuel filter and cleaned the TB last fall and it didnt solve the problem. i dont have my truck now so i can try anything, just a few ideas. im thinks TPS, but wouldnt it give me constant problems? or is it just sticking?

IAC is what I was thinking. I bought a new one, and after the initial cold start and first few seconds of idle it kicks in (stronger than the old one) and jumps that RPM up for a little bit to keep the engine going.
Cleaning out the IAC may help, but if it is a problem with its servo-motor then cleaning won't help.

JUst priced them at kragens. One brand is 96 bucks, and the other brand is 57 bucks. I would try and clean yours out first. Just take it off and spray some carb cleaner in the holes. Real easy to clean. If it still gives you problems than I would replace it.
