OAISIS reports are no longer allowed on FTE. You will have to work with the dealer to obtain one.

A report the dealer/ someone that works at a dealer, can run that shows you all the warranty/ recall work that was completed on that particular vin vehicle.

Seems harmless?
Why isn't it allowed at FTE anymore?

Just curious.

Because the information is the property of the Ford motor company to be used be the Ford motor company and they don't think it needs to be public knowledge.

No problem, Now a lot of times you can go to the service dept at the dealer ship and they will run one for you, especially if you are looking at buying a vehicle from them.

Walked away from a potential sale because the dealer did not want to provide an oasis report. Just flat out said they don't know what I'm talking about asking for one. Seat belt was frayed and we replaced it, and that is all we have done. I asked about 4 times and then just told them see ya.

Really makes you wonder what is wrong with it if they don't want to provide it for you.

Probably a wise move, If they wouldn't show me the OASIS on a Ford truck I wanted to buy from a Ford dealer I would walk as well. Does make you wonder what they are hiding...

Well, yes and no.

FTE no longer has access to OASIS reports. If however someone has access to Ford OASIS, and that person runs the report (at their own peril) and provides information to the requestor via PM's or email, the info isn't being posted in the public view, and nobody knows about it except for the two people involved.
