wiring for 2001 f150 extended cab

i had a question on wiring for a 2001 f150 extended cab. i am adding a sub and amp in the rear under the rear seats and was wondering the easiest way to get power to the amp and for a lack of proper terminology the signal for the amp for the sub. i am using the factory radio/cd unit.

thanks for any help

I'd add a fuse terminal & fuse to the block in the dash to send power to the amp & sub. If the stock head unit doesn't have a signal wire to turn them on (check the wiring diagram to see where the power antenna wire is), you may have to just tie their triggers into a key-switched circuit.
