Changing Radious Arm Bushings

Does anyone know the number of hours alotted to change radious arm bushings on a '66 F100? I am thinking of taking it to a shop, but I would like to know how many hours to pay to have it done. I know a good mechanic shouldnt take too long to do it, but if they put the "tire guy" on it, it could take all day. With my mustang, I normally do all the work, but when I dont have time, I have to take it in and they dont have the books anymore to tell them how many hours to charge. Anyone still have a book that goes back that far?

Can't tell you what the book may say, but it would be the same for a newer truck at least up thru 1979. Same setup.
May want to consider doing the I-Beam pivot bushings as well, since it will be apart. They need to be pressed in. Easiest to take both the radius arm and I-beam off together.

If all you have done are the radius bshing it should be 1 hour a side. It's not that hard. The only hard part is getting the nut off and that just takes a little heat.

What do you do next after you get the nut off?
