As for the F100 that was sold at auction, the original buyer ran into money trouble and KC bought it from him. They actually talked about it on the show.
And you believed them?
Would you negotiate a car deal with a camera crew filming?
I watch it simply because it's about cars. Seeing the "sold" cars in the backgroud used to happen alot on American Hot Rod (Boyd Coddington's show) too. You could always see a car that was supposedly sold sitting in the background. I didn't know if maybe it was in for some service or what the deal was but I thought it was questionable.
I would have to say my favorite reality car show is Wheeler Dealers on Velocity Channel with Ed China and Mike Brewer in England. I love the expressions and the commentary on there.

I cringe every time I hear them say they changed the "bushes" instead of bushings, "wing"instead of fender and "bonnet" instead of hood......
Plus Ed's pronunciation of "aluminum" as alu mini um drives me nuts. Otherwise, it's a watchable show.
The episode of the CJ7 where they changed all of the leaf springs because they had some surface rust on them really made me laugh. What a waste of money.
