Blown radiator (Causes?)
My radiator blew, separating the top-cap from the finned area closest to the engine.
The supply company warrantied it, but said that this is an unusual rupture, associated with other engine problems.
Before I crank this thing up again, what should I check?

Excess pressure , bad cap , head gasket leak . Or CRAP Product ! I put a new radiator in my 78 and drove it once . Got to work , heard a pop while walking away . The whole tank blew OFF ! Replaced it , under warranty , Never another problem . But that IS rare to happen .

Yup, been there too. Bought one for each truck off Summit Racing - factory replacement plastic/aluminum type - and have been great so far - and not bad prices either.
