LED Headlights---Anyone Using Them?

Recently saw a Truck-Lite/Penske YouTube video about LED headlights---a bit pricey but if half as good as claimed might be a worthwhile investment.

Anyone here using them now---personal vehicles or company/fleet?

I have LED lights in my fog lights, they are yellow and look cool haha.
I don't see much of a point, I think HID's use less power.

I'm of the mind LED headlights would be massively better than any HID, halogen or other incandescent lamp that "burns" a filament instead of simply emitting light.

According to all published data about LED headlights they actually draw less power than anything of equal output.

I sell LED lights part time for my solar business.
They are good, but they have limitations.
Super bright headlight type LED's might last for a bit, but will fade sooner than later.

Any LED's emitting anywhere close to 50 watts, will need massive heat sinks to keep cool, unless they are just cheap throw aways.

The ones I put in my fog lights, are 15 watts, and are as bright as the white stock bulbs, but they get just as hot, and I expect them to last 2-3 years.
LED's don't produce the lumens per watt that fluorescents do, they are just more effecient at pointing the light.

To make a headlight that would be as bright as stock, and better on power, and last longer, you'd want to see many LED's instead of just 1 giant one; thats pretty much a dead givaway of a low hour LED product.

I hoped we'd not start bashing or comparing this to that because it works good, better or best for one person. I'm seeking those who have direct info about LED headlights such as produced by Truck-Lite.

Yeah sure there's a down side to everything, nothing goes unbashed because someone doesn't like it but again that's not why I asked the opening question. Just like statistics any fact or aspect can be cited or twisted to prove/disprove something, in the end its all pretty much useless if it doesn't address the question.

So by the lack of replies by anyone who has first-hand knowledge of LED headlights I'll assume they're not in wide-spread use here on FTE.

Thanks anyway!
