hub caps

I posted this in the offroad forum when the topic came up but never got a response.

Ok question here about the screws on the caps:

All my hubs have a different amount, I have 2 on one, 3 on another and 4 and 5 on the others. What is up with that?

Your question doesn't make sense... I am assuming your talking about the locking hubs on your 4x4 and not your "Hub Caps"...

You only have 2 hubs on the front axle...one on the left and one on the right...

unless I just don't know what your talking about....

No no, the screws on the hubcaps is what I am talking about.

You're talking about the center caps on all four? I thought there were only three holes in them. Are the older ones different? If you're missing some of the screws, you can get them from Ford, they're really cheap .

Yup the center caps, i've got five holes in each

That one has four.It doesn't bother me, it just seems weird that it goes, 2-3-4-5.

Maybe the rims where changed at sometime? I have nooo idea.


Primary rig is:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Sunroof, and some 32" BFG Muds .

Pictures are in!!


Then theres:
99' Mustang GT 4.6L
88' F-250 Superduty 4x4 351/c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 with a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed is 65mph, Go Baby Go!
