Exhaust Hangers
I am getting ready to do some work on my exhaust which involves me removing the entire exhaust from just behind the headers. What is the best way to remove the exhaust hangers from the truck? From what I can tell they are in a rubber type of grommet and it looks like it will be very hard to get the hangers out without cutting them.
If I do need to cut them, what can I use when I put the exhaust back up? What will fit? 1/2" or 3/8" rod? I already have some 1/2" rod stock that I could use which would save me money from buying new hangers @ $2-3 each.
