No fire going to coil

I was driving down the road when my 89 Bronco with a 302, hesitated twice then quit. I'm not getting any fire to the coil. The fuel pump comes on when I turn the key to the on position, but I'm not getting any fire to the coil. Help

No fire going to coil

Check and see if the coil is grounded properly. Just one suggestion, but it sounds a like a little more than a loose wire.

No fire going to coil

I have a MSD coil, but I kept my old one that was working. I put the old one on and thats when I discoverd that there is no fire even going to the coil at all. Could it be the distributer?
