I can't seem to get the door panels off my 2000 F150 XLT. What is the trick here? On my old '91 the panels snapped right off, but it won't work like that on this one. Help me fellas! Leaving for a big trip on Monday and I gotta get this done by tomorrow. Thanks
I believe that once you get the screws out, and the upper trim piece on the door pillars, you pull up on the panel. It hooks into the door instead of having the push in clips. So try pulling up on the panel about an inch, then try pulling it off.

In case you haven't gotten them off yet, they are reaaly simple. I pulled mine today to switch to some Pioneer speakers.(Not really much difference in sound though, just a little bit clearer, almost unnoticable.).
1) Remove the trim piece that goes up by the rear of the window.
2) Gently pop out the trim piece around the door handle.
3) Pull up on the front of the panel the contains the P/W P/DL switches and unplug the wires.
4) Remove the phillips head screws. There are 2 of them, one at the top rear of the door panel and one under the door handle cover.
5) Lift straight up on the door panel about an inch and it will come right off.
These are about the easiest that I have ever done. Nice reusable design. Thanks Ford.
