Thank you guys a bunch! What would you guys suggest for cab configuration?
You can't ask a question like that without telling what you plan to use it for. I have a long bed CC and it's still not big enough for all the stuff I haul!
im in the same spot as you. ive got a 96 7.3 which i love how reliable the motor itself is, but im sick of the rough ride, 4.10 ratios, rough e4OD transmission (gotta drive it like a manual), it hates winter time, just an outdated truck with too good of an engine. Its never left me stranded and ive only put $200 of parts into it in the last 5 years. seeing high mileage 6.4s for sale gives me some reassurance though. some almost to 300k and still worth $19000. looking for a job 3 truck with less that 120k on it for a nice truck. ive got a 24 valve cummins for my farm truck (dont feel guilty beating the tar out of a dodge thats falling apart).
Might I suggest this one? It was mine for 2 years and I sold it to my buddy in NY. Now he's taking another look at his finacial situation since having a new baby and he decided to sell it. This is a super clean rig. 2008 F-250 King Ranch Dream Truck
That is a beautiful truck but it's a little too far of a drive for me. 3 inch would probably look good too. I don't want to go tho high then I will want huge tires to go along with it then down goes the mileage. Is like a good happy medium of both

I got 21-22 mpg on this exact same setup. 4" lift and 35" tires.
