yeah it does. but carter lake may be in neb buts still iowa. epply is in Omaha. go a couple hundred yards west and your in iowa again.

 

I looked it up, and it is screwy. One town cut out of Nebraska. Is there any history as to why that happened?

yes there is years ago carter lake(the lake itself) used to be part of the Missouri river. they rechanneled the river to put the airport in. so they left the lake as is and divided the land. seeing how carter lake was there. and the town isn't very big. and epply sits right next to the river. and you go from ia to ne then across the river and its ia again.
