6v Fuel Pump Voltage?
Don't know your year, but the diagnostic check in my repair manual says to connect a 12 volt source and a ground to the pump to test it. I'm pretty sure you should have 12 volts. Check your meter on the battery.

You should trace the circuit back until you find 12v, if you need a wiring diagram I have one that I scanned from my 1989 Ford manual, email me and remind me what you need.
