I just put the first big load (~3500 lbs) on my '99 F250 V10 Super Duty. After removing the load the passenger side is setting lower than the driver's side by about 3 inches. Any suggestions on what's causing the problem?

The springs look fine and there's a little play in the shocks I when I pull down on the bed. I figured it's one of those two but they seem to look right.
3500 lbs in an F250?
I ordered a SRW F350 and it has a 3400 lb payload.
Broken leaf, bent or broken hanger, frame? crack? Split?
I have the V10 version is this. Payload should be 3600.

Before you start taking things apart, make a few measurements to see what is bent or broken. Is the suspension actually down 3 inches, or is it the bed? Are you measuring tire to fender lip? Measure frame to ground on both side.

I was "eyeballing" the tire to the fender. The rear is sagging about 3" and the front is sagging about 1.5". I'll get it on a level surface and measure from the frame down.
Payload is not 3600 pounds for a f250, Your GVWR is 8800 pounds your truck weighs somewhere around 7200 that leaves you 1600 pounds for payload. You were only over by 1900 pounds. No wonder something is bent...

The wieght info is confusing, but the link provided shows empty weight of 5189, GVWR of 8800, when subtracted that leaves 3611.
Not sure why it's called a 3/4 ton in light of that.
Also I bet that truck is not 7200 lbs, my 2003 F350 with a diesel was somewhere aroung 6800 lbs with a full tank of fuel.
Then either the scale you were on was off or the one I was on was off because I have had my 2003 F250 CC 4x4 with a 5.4 on the scale 3 times and everytime mine ranged from 7100 to 7200 depending on fuel and whatever was in the interior. It doesn't really matter because we are talking about 400 pounds , that fact of the matter is the OP was grossly overloaded.
Yes sir she was a 4x4, surprised me to see it weigh that little. Scale that I weigh on should be accurate, it is the main scale on the North South highway between Calgary and Edmonton at the Calgary end. Lots of truck traffic every day on it. My dually on the same scale weighed in around 8100lbs I think it was. Been a while since I weighed in. No longer own either truck. He was overweight but unless he already had something else wrong with the frame, the frame should be fine. I did have a broken spring on my 03 at one point, did not cause a sag situation but rather a dog tracking situation driving down the road.
