I just bought this 2008 and the 6 disk changer was not working. It does have the factory installed subwoofer/amp behind the back seat.
The back of the stero has three plugs. A large one, medium and small. <?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" oreferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"></v:shapetype>
I got a 6 disk changer out of a 2010 model and it only has the large and medium plug. Everything works great, radio, all speakers, etc.
The one this that does not work is the subwoofer/amp behind the seat, which leaves me to believe that small, 4 wire plug is for that.
How can i wire that in so that I have an active subwoofer/amp?
I wonder if I could just swap the motherboard from the old to the new one, that way I would have all the connectors. I don't believe there was anything wrong with the motherboard, only the cd changer.
