Winterizing

When you winterize your 5th wheel do you remove the television sets? I live in eastern Washington state and I have 3 LCD TVs in the new 5th wheel. Should I remove the TVs before storing the rig for the winter or is it OK to leave them in place?

Although there's no "liquid" in those LCD sets, I would remove them for the winter for 2 reasons: 1) No sets to steal (insurance?) and 2) moisture/ice might form inside them and cause problems if not SLOWLY warmed up when you put that 5er back in service....JMHO

I was going to, but then storing the tv just made a problem of a different sort. I went to the tv manufacturers website and looked up the full specs on the tv. It is good to 20 below and if it ever gets that cold where the 5er is stored, we are having more serious issues than a busted tv.

I have never pull a tv during the winter. I think it is a waste of time..but I certainly would not just fire up any electronic thing till it was warmed a bit.
