Blower Resister Unhook

Found my blower resistor 2005 FORD Expedition but am having a problem disconnecting the wiring. Afraid I may break something trying to force it off. Is there a special tool required for this? Part#RU-381

Shouldnt be that difficult unless the connector is melted to the pins. You may need both the resistor and pigtail connector.
