Does anyone know the lift difference between the stock front coil springs and the snow plow prep. My '12 had the prep and my new one doesn't. The new one looks pretty squat in the front. I'm afraid of how low it will be once I put a 350lb bumper and winch combo on the front.
On an F250, there is a possibility that you could have 5200 lb springs. The snow plow package is 6000 lb springs. The difference between my truck with 5600 springs and my brothers truck with 6000 springs is only about 1/2". From the 5200 to the 6000 spring would be about an inch. Check your door sticker to see what front spring code you have.
It's funny that you ask that. I just installed the snow plow pkg spings on my 2013 F350 which are 6000lbs capacity. My original springs had a 5600lbs capacity. I did the spring swap in two hours in my driveway.
Not sure what front springs you have (check your door sticker) on your F250, but my 2012 F250 had 5200lbs springs in it. I am pretty sure you will need the 6000lbs springs also judging by the f250 specs for the snow plow pkg.
I ordered my F-350 with the Camper Package, which cancels out the Snow Plow Prep and the Heavy Service Front Package. Anyone know if the Camper Package includes the 6,000 pound springs? I'm going to be putting a 12K winch up front which ought to weigh around 100 pounds.

I'm pretty sure that the camper package maxes out spring rates on both ends of the truck.
I just checked my dually with a 13, 300 gvwr and I have 5600# front and 9000# rear. Its a 2011 with build date of 6/11. Crew cab FX4 without the snow plow package.
I checked mine last night with my son and I have 6000lb. 5C34-5310-ACC 6,000 lbs springs in the front end. I have the snow package. One thing that I should note is that my 2011 sits level. Free standing in the driveway, you can put a level on the rear bed and it's level.
I have the snow plow prep package on my 2015 DRW and have no plans to get a plow. I would like to lower the front end an inch or two as I tow a 16K trailer and the front end sits too high when I tow.
Who wants to trade springs? I guess I should confirm which set I have? Spring data in next post.
