How is the quality of the bar? The price isn't that bad maybe a 20" is in my future . Also how hot does the bar get? I was going to install it behind my grille but its plastic so i don't want it to melt anything.

Good quality bars. They use CREE XML LEDs which are some of the best on the market.

I haven't left mine on for very long but they don't get too hot.

24,940 lumens. Holy crap! A 35 watt HID headlight is about 3200 lumens!

How much of a glare would these throw on other drivers? If they can be used while driving around town then i will definitely have one sooner than later! Also whats best spot, flood, combo or some cubes in flood and a bar for spot? etc.

Those are high beams/off road only.

They are not road legal. None are. But I did see an rv with them on the roof once pointed down driving on the road. It wasn't blinding but it was bright.

My bar is a combo and does a good job of covering everything. Most people are happy with a combo. A rock crawler would want a flood and a Baja 1000 truck would want a spot. Everyone else wants a combo lol

Good to know thanks What about using some small cubes as back up lights? would flood or combos work better? I had a thought about surface mounting some to an 08 style bumper because its more squared off instead of the more rounded 99-07 bumpers.

Technically you would want a flood but most are combo.

The only flush mounts I've seen are rigids and they are way over priced.
