Question help

want to put fe 390 in 1978 4x4 that has 300 6 cylinder. motor mounts are not the same . the 6 cyl. stands are welded to frame. what to do?

can i cut old out and build new, or do they make after market stands

I would probably cut them out and find a set of 360/390 fe engine perches. Then bolt them on.

A previous owner welded them, FoMoCo absolutely did not.

Left: 1977/79 F150 4WD 300 I-6 & 351M/400 / Right: 1974/76 F100/150 4WD 360 ~ 390's not installed in 4WD's.
