new engine pics

I finally have a few pics of the engine. I have to have all the other ones developed. Broke my old dig cam. So for now these will do. I took these shortly after my cam break in. I still have to wrap the wiring harness so no complaining!

Someone asked me what Iam going to do about my steering. Well I know I will have some huge arms after a few months. Seriously I will not start any more projects until after I get this thing out to Cali. I leave in a little over a month. I am sure that once I get out there I will tons of options available in the desert junkyards.

Camp Pendleton, stuck between SD and LA. I know there are tons of scrap yards around the area. Last time I was out there in 1996 I was restoring a 1960 and I found plenty of old truck parts then.

Nice fit on that 460, but did you need to hump the trans tunnel to get the C6 to clear (It does sit up high)? Is that a Ford 460? I almost bought a Marquis for the 460, but the motor mounts I looked at said "not for Lincoln or Mercury motors". I had assumed they were all the same.
