As the title states, my truck is suddenly dead. I went to turn up the fuel screw this morning and decided against it cause the screw wasn't wanting to turn and my wrench wasn't very long. So I buttoned everything back up and went to start it. Nothing. So I figured the lines needed bleeding and did that... Still nothing. I repeated that MANY times throughout the day, and it still is not starting. Batteries are fine, just replaced them. Starter is new, same with glow plugs and controller. The injection pump itself is a freshly remanufactured unit from Midwest fuel injection (reputable place). I have it timed right, and it's been starting like a dream in the cooler weather, up until I tried messing with the fuel today. I did have it started once or twice, but it only ran for a few seconds and just died while I was holding the throttle open. And YES, I know it was stupid of me to mess with it when it was running great and cool outside.
Any ideas here guys? How tight should that cover be? It didn't seem very tight when I took it off, and yes the gasket is there and in tact.
check that the FSS is getting power, (test lite) then the Glows, (test lite) my WTS lite stopped staying on, the other day, cause the controller died. and she would only send power to the glows for 4 seconds, so she started hard, when cold,?? is your WTS lite working normaly? good luck..

I forgot to mention that I already checked the FSS and glow plugs, both are fine. Any other ideas?
