Well the modifications will finally begin... I need to add a hitch this weekend or early next week for a trip up to camp. I also need to replace the 4 pin connector.

Brake fluid has been holding out well. Haven't found the leak yet.

Christmas brought no truck parts but lots of new tools cordless angle grinder and sawzall, 33 gallon air compressor, impact sockets, impact wrench, die grinder, and a soldering gun Plus 2 new Polar Bear coolers it was an awesome christmas and I am very greatful!

Truck is due for an oil change soon. I am changing all the fluids in my ATV first then I will turn my attention to the F250 I just need more time and could always use more cash I still need to get the new exhaust put on. I will then probably turn my attention to some exterior lighting. I need to get the light conversion harnesses from Riff Raff and probably going to switch to clear marker lights first. The go from there.... I need to do it slowly so the gf doesn't get too suspicious.... I can't be pulling funds from the engagement ring account

First mod was completed last night. I got the Class 4 hitch I picked up off craigslist for $65 installed. I will snap some pictures tonight. I hit it with 3 coats of Chassis Saver before installing it.

If anyone ever needs to know, the bolt size for the hitch is Grade 10.9 M14 x 2.00 x 50mm (45mm would work too). You need 8 total. Along with this, each bolt was installed with (1) 14mm washer on top, (1) 14mm fender washer on bottom, (1) grade 10.9 lock washer, and (1) grade 10.9 nut. I got everything from Allen's Fasteners online. These bolts I needed were$4.80 a piece from the local hardware store. I think they were just over a $1 from Allen's. And they have fast shipping too!

It was a factory take off from a newer model. They listed it as class 5, but it has a 2" receiver so I have determined it must be class 4. I imagine it is the same as what came on most everyone's truck. For some reason, mine was ordered without it or the hitch rusted away and they took it off.

At 10pm last night, I decided I wanted to install the Pioneer 7300BT I had sitting on the shelf so I could listen to iTunes in the truck again. That took all of 5 minutes since I had it in my last Super Duty

This is the truck at work today. I ahve tomorrow and Friday off to go riding in the Allegheny Forest. I have to say, I would have never wanted a long bed truck. Just too big... Then I loaded for camp and the quad fits with the cooler behind it and the tailgate shuts and locks. I don't know if I could ever live without a long bed now...

I just cried... that poor squirrel.

Besides that truck looks great! How's the truck perform with the bed loaded down? And Pioneer makes a great headunit

Ya. My girlfriend about fell off the couch when she saw that... It hurt my acorns when I saw it

It's not fast by any means, but you can feel the power. There is probably an extra 900 lbs (the quad it only 610lb dry) in it now and its barely noticeable. I have to add more stuff, another person, and a trailer before heading up to camp. That will be the real test. I can say with that quad in there, that truck is up there for the smoothest ride I have ever experienced and I am putting that up there with a 1948 Chrysler Town & Country Woody Convertable. That car floats over everything and the F250 isn't far off

Yeah that is the general consensus. If I didn't get 11 mpg anyway I would probably throw 300lbs in the bed just for the ride quality.

I noticed that the f650 lower dash has a lower compartment .my 250 had a hook to hang a bag from will the f650 lower work with that style. also mine has adjuster pedals so id have to make a cutout for that

My truck is an E99 So I didn't have the trash hook it was an ash tray that opens up sense I don't use the ash tray I just bolted the C.B. to it. I ordered mine from Horizon parts guy because Clay was out of them at the time and it did not come with the cup holder or ash tray (trash hook) just had to paint the ones that were already in the truck. This dash is nice cause it's bolt and play. I finally got the gauges from Clay.
