In the last few days I put a new wiper switch in my '69 Ford Ranger. It worked for a few seconds, then stopped. Now the wipers won't cut on, nor will my air cond. fan.
I got a wire tester and checked the connection from the plugs to the switch - 2 sides are getting good power, the third side gets very little. The light barely blinks on one side of the connection to the switch.
The switch gets hot and so do I.
Any good suggestions to check ? Naturally, the wiper motor is unbelievably hard to get to.
I would appreciate any help.
