One more step towards completion!
I''ll be recruiting some help to get the front clip back on but all else was just me with some help from an engine hoist and gantry crane
The clip and cab that I got a while back is already painted. It isn't perfect and I'll be repainting it in the future but it will work for now. It's Ford White (bright white, work truck white) and that just won't do long term..
Today's plan is to start on the door seals I think..
I have all the steps I can think of in a spreadsheet. I then break them down into as logical an order as I can think of and then set a do-able amount for each day based on my schedule. If new tasks come up, I fit them in and adjust the schedule. The trick is that I am doing something everyday and it keeps me focused.
Today is to start on the door seals and un-mask / prep the engine for re-install.
Nothing scheduled after today until Wed next week thanks to my work schedule and family obligations. But then it's install the headers, install the engine, install the transmission and test the engine.
After that is drive shafts, brake lines and getting the cab and clip back on.
Inch by inch..
