Back up camera question

I have all but signed the papers on a 2011 Lariet with a back up camera. I plan on using my 5th wheel tailgate and was wondering if I will be getting any kind error message indicating the missing camera.

hummm...my camera is on the bumper over my plate...so tail gate position or lack there of does not effect it.
