What did you do to your IDI today?

I straight-piped my '93 with turbo, by just keeping the factory exhaust piping and just adding a joggle piece to replace the muffler.
I... don't really notice much of a difference, to be honest. I expected it to be loud, like my 88 was when I deleted it on that. Instead, it's got a new 'whooshing' sound at idle from the exhaust pipe, and sounds a little 'deeper' on accelerating, but it's not much noisier, even with the windows down.
With the windows up, at cruising speed? No difference.
I'm guessing it's due to the factory over-the-hump of the rear tire and the extra bends in it(which my 88 didn't have).

I know. It's your fault I bought them! I was going to do the LEDs you did but strangely these were cheaper and now I have work lights too so double bonus!

Not all done today... but in the past couple weeks I've:
Changed the oil and filter
LED reverse lights (thanks kla94 for finding and posting those!!!)
Replaced the pedal bushings including a custom setup for the clutch pushrod to fix the crappy Ford design
Swapped to hydroboost brakes which included replacing the power steering pump, new lines, flushing the steering gear, and adding an auxiliary cooler and a power steering filter. Also pulled out all the extra vacuum crap, all thats left is the vac pump plumbed directly to the the HVAC control line. That neatened up things a bit in the engine compartment.
Last night I swapped the rear diff spiders out for a Lockright locker and synthetic gear lube.
Lots more to come in the future! Should have a new stereo/gps by the end of the week which will allow a backup camera as well (just have to find a decent backup camera.... and way too much to choose from out there)

Finally got my glow plugs replaced today. Been starting off ether for a little while. I, like many others on here, was blessed by a previous owner with a full set of autolites. However I must be blessed because not 1 swollen tip and they all came out trouble free.
I also threw on the wiring harness from a 6.0 while I was at it and am very pleased with it. Much better connectors.
Also not as recent but last month I put my new shoes on her. Cooper discoverer ST Maax in 315/75/16. Been very very happy with them so far. Great snow and ice traction, I plow commercially and these do fantastic.
I think 315/75 is the perfect fit for a stock truck

They are Anzo's, absolutely love them. The stock ones were so bad I couldn't see at night. I bought some ebay replacements but the didnt fit that well and looked like crap. So I sucked it up and dished out the cash for these. They're not cheap but totally worth it. Fitment is perfect and light output is excellent. (I also did the headlight mod at the same time I installed them)

Nice truck yourself, beautiful body. I understand the money issues for sure. If you can definitely wait and save for the Anzo's, i was pretty disappointed in the stock replacements.
