Finally got around to installing some running boards I got out of a wrecker for the wife...
She may have been pregnant when I got them for her and life happened.

Never heard of "Tech Tubes", but they were designed to mount rather well, using factory holes, actually straddles a cross member rivet, and connect to the body mount/leaf bolts. Going to swap out the front brackets down the road for some thicker metal to give it a little more strength.

Figured out why my truck had no brakelights.. P.O. cut green/red wire to brake light switch and ran a wire to it straight from the battery... all because of a burned out fuse...the wire from the battery had no fuse, and no grommet..was a fire waiting to happen.. also put the sun visors back on..why he took them off is beyond me..and I reinstalled the rear view mirror..

Home brew freon? Like r152a/computer duster freon? I use that and it rocks. Lower head pressure and better cooling vs. 134a..

R12a, aka propane, same deal, more efficient and lower head pressure

finally a properly fully sealed up air cleaner! out with the poorly sealed banks assembly and in with this one:
Amazon.com: Spectre 9831 4" Inline Air Box with 6.4" Body: Automotive Amazon.com: Spectre 9831 4" Inline Air Box with 6.4" Body: Automotive

much, much, much better.not only do i have a good easy fitment now,but a fully sealed enclosure.i do wish the assembly was a bit bigger cus it means i'll need to wash/oil the filter more often but that's ok.small price to pay for such a good upgrade.the only poorly done part of the whole banks kit is their filter assembly.

That's nice hturner12. Which led bulbs did you go with for the reverse lights?

If they don't work turn them over. My goal is to get the truck tow ready for when we get our camper next year.
