The lockouts and Gears I will get from Bronco Graveyard
If you are replacing the lock outs with new ones you should need the Ford o ring and lock ring for it. Everything else looks pretty much right. We really won't know the total extent of what went on until it is opened up.
Side note, I have nothing to set up the gears with other than torque wrench. I know we will be needing a dial indicator and a manual or at least the specs so we can hopefully get it set up correctly.
Howdy all! Sure don't like to see the snow flying already. I was hoping to put the Ex to bed for the winter November 1st, but I haven't given it one last wash for the year yet. If I can make that happen in time, I just might pull it off.
Going up to put my parents fifth wheel away this weekend, which we store just outside of Elk Rapids in a storage condo. Got it all washed outside last weekend and all the yard stuff put away, now it just needs inside cleaning and winterizing this weekend. For the washer/dryer combo, I believe my mom runs it through a cycle with some pink antifreeze, which I think is a process outlined in the manual. I normally just like to blow out with air, but between the washer and the location of the water heater rear, it's much easier just to run the pink fluid through everything.
We put in a camera system from Costco at the building a few years back that runs through a HughesNet internet connection. At first it was just to make sure everything was safe as well as watch the weather outside, that is until we had a break in. Being a complex and not residential, it has attracted all sorts of people. Some local kids (complete with soccer jerseys) decided to kick in our service door one night. Seven kicks and they broke down the steel door with a wood jam. Luckily they just walked in, walked around up front, and left with a screwdriver, so they never went near the trailers and no serious harm was done. But it made that system worth every penny.
Where is Mike? we need the assistance of a lift next weekend to get my truck all patched up and ready for snow.
Caitlins truck just squeezed into the barn to do her brakes should be done next week as well. Had to let half the air out of the tires and have her hold the door up higher than it would go but its in.
