Hey guys I need some help from a member in Ontario. I found a car item that I need on another forum. It is located in Georgetown, ON Canada. The guy will no ship, or take it to a pack and ship I already tried. It appears that he is a business (car restoration shop). So I am in desperate need of someone to meet this guy take the part box it up and ship it down to me here in the states. I will pay for all shipping, part, boxing materials, tape, time etc. prior to you doing anything. I am really hoping that someone here can help me out!
Glove are you saying he wont even ship to me here in North bay Ont, how big is this box & where are you....... in OR??
Thats correct located in Oregon. He wants pickup up only. He may meet at like a store or something. I would assume somewhere around 36" if you want I can get the size specs and attempt to locate a box and get it shipped up there.
I tried everything I could think of to get him to ship it, or allow me to schedule a fedex pickup or something up there, but he just won't do it. He doesn't want the liability of shipping such a part. But I do not have this part right now so if it gets here scratched up, dinged up a bit etc. I don't really care. I just need it as one of my last big ticket items.
I'd help you in a minute but I'm about 3.5 hrs North, if he'll send it to me I'll send it to you, is he worried about cash or not getting paid...... how heavy is the item??

Not very heavy maybe 10 pounds? It is just the length as it is a tail lamp panel and lenses. It is a two piece design that is held together in the middle with rivets. So basically length can be cut in half in the rivets are removed, but obviously if someone doesn't want to fool with that its ok.
I'll get on the phone with him and see what he will do.
Idk what his deal is. I told him I would send Paypal and then all he had to do was box it up securely and I would schedule all pickup arrangements he just says he is not setup for shipping. So you know how it goes on craigslist. Sometimes you get a weird duck lol.
ETA: I really appreciate you considering it! If I get anymore info either way I will let you know.
