and check out these nifty converter plugs the mirrors came with. not sure what to do with these. might do a pinout for when I run running lights into my new mirrors. the wiring is already in there, but the X itself doesn't support them yet. Luckily the blinker wiring was already present and works wonderfully

Current Update of the Excursion following todays installs
Suspension: Custom 3" front/2" rear
Rear:
"F" codes from a 2005/2006 F-250 - Custom modded with AAL taken from the factory "G" codes the X came with. Gained 2" of height over stock, but maintained mostly same ride quality. It's a play on the popular modded "B" code that most guys do.
Front:
Custom AAL taken from OEM rear "G" codes and added to OEM front leaf pack. Gained 0.5"-1". No more bottoming out. No real effect on ride quality
2" lift shackles installed
Quad Shock mount installed
Quad Shocks installed
Rims/Tires
OEM 16" alloys painted black with chrome hub caps
315/75-16 (35" tall) Nitto Terra Grapplers

flipped the sway bar upper link mounts to allow the sway bar links to clear the leaf springs
rides much nicer up front. I don't know what was causing my clunk...but between the new sway bar mounts and todays work, the clunks are totally gone. also gone is all of the body sway due to the new sway bar positioning, and the quad shocks.
happy camper. now I need to order custom length rear shocks to be truly "finished" up front....until I get a dual steering stabilizer...and...and...and.......
The ride is firmer. I don't find it rough though. I used the cheapest Monroe shocks I could find for a F250. Those shocks are 1" longer than excursion shocks for front.
The dampening force is okay. It really helped with body roll. Old shocks were blown out.
sway bar already had brand new end links...3-4 days ago I put brand new bushings on the bar itself where it bolts to the axle...about 3/4 of my clunks went away. still had a persistent clunk on occasional turn

Those marker kicks look great, are you still getting a decent light output even though they're so dark? And how hard was the handle to add, really wish my 02 had one.
