Ranchhand Headache rack/toolbox combo

Decided on my first accessories for the truck.

Since it is a longbed I decided on these two items.

Very well built. I think the tool box alone is almost 200 lbs.

Yes, it is much different then the 6.4. I liked the message center better in the old truck but otherwise this one is better.

The motor is quieter and fewer regens.

Technology upgrades are nice as well.

I don't know about you but the cab seems smaller on the inside compared to the 08 for some reason.

I think so too upfront because of the center console. Seems like that is where the biggest difference is..that and maybe the center stack because of the my touch stuff

Thats a nice looking setup, and I would guess with the low profile you don't have to pull it to use the 5ver. The one thing I hate about my back rack and toolbox combo is that I will have to pull the toolbox every time I use the camper (once I finally get one), because the back rack sets the toolbox up so high.

On another note, were those 5th wheel hole plugs and grommets included with the truck? Mine had no plugs or grommets with it. Did they screw me?

Yeah, from the factory. It is the 5th wheel gooseneck prep. I have the hitch and gooseball. Just not in the bed at the moment.

Guess I need to go talk to the dealer. I have the factory prep package, but the grommets around none of the mounts were ever there. Just a hole with the mount through it. Like that ranch hand setup, sorry for the jack.

Same thing yours does, 5th wheel prep, $370. I had to special order with the prep package since no local dealers seem to stock them. But since Ford does do some weird stuff, is yours the factory spray in liner or line X'ed after the fact? I have the factory spray in liner in mine.

liner is also factory too. So seems like they short changed you on the pucks and the rubber covers..

When I was looking at trucks everyone that had the 5th wheel prep had the pucks and the covers there. So I would think yours were taken off by the dealer.

Make them fix it.
