it fits ok, i had to cut the duct out behind the cluster. about 1/3 of the circumference in the front. then i just taped it to make it work. also cut out some of the plastic cross brace of the dash. then rocked it in. fits ok. i can take pics in a few hours. looks awesome finished.

i also got my 08 COLUMN in and working.
had to use 10 relays but it works great
would love to know how you did the column. Almost to that part of mine. About done with the dash now

Column.
i marked the shift cable in part position, cut the shift cable mount off of my 02 column and welded it in place on the 08 column, same location just opposit side of the 02. use your marked cable for spacing.

for electronics, wiring is posted earlier in this post, i forget where. just connect wires how they are labeled and match them.
wipers are wire to wire control wise and work great. hazards on the 02 are switched, and momentary pulse on the 08.
you can use 5 relays in a impulse latched setup.
Cruise wires correlate also. but resistances are different in the controls so they will not work.
shift interlock is wire to wire, there was confusion on 1 wire from park input on 08, connect it to the 12v wire on 02.
air bag wires same.
i used 5 relays for lights and 5 for ignition
all relays are powered, and groundsncontrolled theough ignition and multifunction
You will power the relays for accy, run, run, run strt, and start. and ground them through the ignition switch.
the 02 column uses contacts to control power flow, so just match wires up and connect to relays.
there are 5 power and 5 outputs. 1 for each listed above.
the 5 other relays for lights,
power in out from headlight switch. to multifunction
high, flash to pass and 1 for each turn signal.
i bought relays with base from amazon.
50$worth.
ill see if i can find my schematic i drew up,

Looking for a pinout for the ECM on my truck. If anyone could help would be great. The module has 3 Plugs on it under the hood passenger side on the firewall. One harness is for the tranny. Need to know pinout for the motor harness trying to find the pin for the Crankshaft sensor.

08 ignition switch is powered pin 8and 9 blue/red
relays will be grounded. sorry may have mis spoke in last comment by saying its grounded.
either way it will work.
pin 3 blue/gray is key sense
**following wires will control correlating relays... using pins 85 and 86 coil control
pin1 white/orange is run/start
pin5 violet/green is accessory
pin 7 brown/yellow is run ***truck needs 2 run relays to flow full current, im doing this on a 7.3 diesel. **control 2 relays with this wire
pin 10 blue/white is start

relay power circuits on 02. use pins 30 and 87
accessory .....lightgreen/violet-darkblue/lightgreen
run...... yellow -red/black
run.....yellow-gray/yellow
run/start..... the 2 smaller wires, i may be wrong on the db/or wire.... red/light green-darkblue/orange
*j* if 6.0... white/yellow-darkblue/orange
start.....ran a power wire from fuse block terminal to dark green

NOTE*** I MAY HAVE SWITCHED LG/VT AND DB/OG. PUT SMALLER WIRES ON THE RUN/START RELAY

**Ignition interlock
02 to 08
LB/PK - GN
BK - BK/GY
RD/LG - BU/OG

**MULTIFUNCTION
the 02 is all power circuit controls. so the switch actually moved power flow with contacts for the lighting.
the 08 is all ground control through ecm. so i used relays to resolve this.
5 relays. Must be powered, grounded through switch, since wipers work this way.
high beam
flash to pass
left
right
hazard.
**turn signals will need to be diode isolated.so when the hazards or brakes are on.
also an issue with the brake lights. you will need a couple more relays so when one turn signal is on and brake lights are commanded you shut that side blinker off.
otherwise you get a fast blink in front and just brakes in rear with no signal, same effect with hazards.
i upgraded to 08 tail lights and am running a brake wire to the rear. so i will have 3 filamemts instead of 3.
i like the idea of a lower marker parking, and an upper turn with a seperate brake.

The shift linkage looking up from under the right side of column. Shiny part is original cable mount. I cut off and Welded the 02 column mount bracket to the right side rear mount near the bolt on the 08

Just checking my wiring work here for the 08

Here is what I'm working with.
Key switch:
1. Yellow/red -
2. Purple/white -
3. Blue/gray - key sense (I think)
4. Black - ground (I'm pretty sure)

Clockspring
1. Purple/brown - air bag driver 1 (pos or neg?)
2. Black/purple - ground (cross car beam, 3rd stud)
3. Yellow/red - relay horn
4. Yellow/green - air bag driver 1 (pos or neg?)

9. Purple/white - I think this is illum (not sure)

Leftside of column (think ignition)
1. Blue/red (larger gauge, thinking constant 12v)
2. Blue/white - starter (I think)
3. Blue/gray
4. White/orange - ignition 1 (I think)
5. brown/yellow - accessory, heater blower 1 (I think)
6. Purple - (not sure)

multi function switch
1. Brown/yellow - hazards
2. Purple/white - turn left
3. Gray/yellow - turn right
4. Green/brown - flash to pass
5. White/orange - high beam
6. Black/gray - ground (cross car beam, 2nd stud)
7. Purple/orange - wipers (high)
8. Gray/brown - wiper washer
9. Purple/white - wiper interval B (faster or slower?)
10. Green/purple - wiper interval A (faster or slower?)
11. Black/gray - ground (cross car beam, 2nd stud)
12. Blue/orange - wiper interval C (faster or slower?)

Tow/haul (top of column)
1. Yellow/grey - fuse 25 or circuit breaker
2. Brown/yellow - tow mode control

Shift interlock
1. Black/gray - ground (cross car beam, 2nd stud)
2. Green - transmission park detect
3. Blue/orange - brake shift interlock

Just need to have someone help me fill in the blanks. I also got to go through and do this for my 02 as well so I can understand it better.

The 02 wires I have figured out so far...

Multifunction switch
1. Red - wipers (don't know what speed)
2. Blue/orange - wipers (don't know what speed)
3. White - wipers (don't know what speed)
4. Yellow/red - wipers (don't know what speed)
5. Orange - wiper pump
6. Black - ground
7. White/blue - turn right, front
8. Orange/blue - turn right, rear
9. Green/orange - turn left, front
10. Green/white - turn left, rear

Clockspring (2 connectors)
1st connector
1. Black/pink - key sense
2. Green/orange -
3. Blue -
4. Black -
5. Yellow -
6. Light blue/black -
2nd connector
7. Gray/orange -
8. Gray/white -
**But the first connector connects to another harness**
That harness plug:
1. Black/pink - key sense
2. Gray/red -
3. Blue -
4. Black -
5. Light blue/red -
6. Green/black -

Plug 1
1. Green -
2. Light blue -
3. White(maybe tan)/red -
4. Blue/orange -
5. Gray/orange -
6. Red/yellow -
7. Red/black -

Ignition
1. Green - starter (voltage supplied at start)
2. Green/purple - 12v constant (voltage all times)
3. Yellow - 12v constant (voltage all times)
4. Gray/yellow - accessory (voltage in run)
5. Yellow (a 2nd one) - 12v constant (voltage all times)
6. Blue/green - 2nd accessory (fused)
7. Red/black - accessory (voltage in run)
8. Blue/orange - voltage supplied at a times
9. Red/green - ignition (voltage supplied start and run)

Interlock (wired allready, can't remember which wire is which. I'll update once I find my schematic again)
1. Light blue/pink -
2. Black -
3. Red/green -

Plug 2
1. Tan(?)/orange -
2. Pink/blue -
3. Black -
4. Red/yellow

Still not sure what everything is exactly on the 02. I know that my wheel is very basic and only has cruise control buttons, but there are lots of different diagrams and schematics saying different colors in different pins. Please help if ya can. Thanks.

Ok so the relays I'm using for the ignition are the 80/60
Their wires are labeled as such:
Black - Ground (85)
Red- VDC (30)
White- Trigger (86)
Yellow- Output N/C (87a)
Blue - Output N/O (87)

I'm going to use run start as an example to make sure I'm doing this correctly and others like me that are having a hard time can figure this out.

Run Start
1. Red/green to pin#30 (02)
2. Blue/orange to pin#87 (02)
3. Orange/white to pin#85 (08) or do I need to ground this out?
4. Orange/white (same wire) to pin#86 (08)
5. What goes to pin#87a? Power from the red/blue (08)?

Or is it:
Run Start
1. Red/blue to pin#30 (08)
2. Blue/orange to pin#87 (02)
3. Red/green to pin#87 (02)
4. Orange/white to pin#85 (08) or do I need to ground this out?
4. Orange/white (same wire) to pin#86 (08)
5. What goes to pin#87a?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I'm almost done with the full swap. This is my last bump in the road.

I'm also done with cluster minus wiring up the Leds, which I could use a hand with that as well. As I know they require resistors but I know nothing of them.

LOTS OF INFORMATION PUT TOGETHER FOR CONVIENIENCE

I have attached an image explaining how I went about wiring my ignition. Now my truck is a 2002 so this may not work for your vehicle if a different year. Also everything has been tested minus the starter. It will be tested soon, just need a new relay first.

Also if you have any information that can be inputed in to the excel spreadsheet, please reply. I want to get this information out there, because I know there are a lot of guys and gals out there wanting to do this but feel intimidated.
