Hey guys I have seen some pics of people with some nice accent lights all over their trucks inside and out. I myself have an LEDGlow Million color interior light kit that i have been too laze to install but post up what ever you have to give everyone else ideas! Bed lights, grille lights, running lights, wheel wells post it if you got it .
After i pulled off my oem Running Boards & installed N-Fab's i kinda missed the exterior lighting which came on after opening the door, unlocking/locking door's, etc. so i installed some self stick sealed led light strips & just tapped into the existing wiring.....Very easy & super bright !!!
* Ive also replaced ALL my interior lighting w/LED's (brighter & nicer to look at)....No Pic's on hand though
Nice lights Nice Work Truck, what did you use under the bumper?
King, how well do those light up the ground? I have AMP steps and i like the recon big rig lights so i was thinking of taping the courtesy lights into those or mounting strips under the cab that face the ground and using the AMP wiring so they light up with the door opening. i want the effect like in the link Madson posted those light up great!
Heres mine, got the idea from other members here. Except I just went on amazon and got a 5meter strip of LEDs for like $8 lol.
(from the drivers seat)
and running lights
LED cab light bulbs w/ clear lenses, LED mirror lights w/ clear lenses, LED rear ID bar under tailgate, LED third brake light w/ clear lense, non-LED (for now) side marker lights, cree LED projector back up bulbs
Miles did you wire those into your dome light? Im thinking of getting two different LED strips one facing down that's white and one facing out that's Amber.
Are those strictly on KR and lariat trucks or do you think my 04 XLT might have that connector as well? I could always try to tap into the AMP steps I'm not sure if that would work though.
