That is WRONG about the seats(along with a couple other things) I own a Lightning and I have lightning seats on my bronco and a 3rd set in my basement. The only thing Power about them is a lumbar and side bolster. If you want more authority on the subject, Go here The National Lightning Owners Club Inc
Brad, since you own a bronco and lightning can you tell me if the GT40 heads and intake manifold, larger throttle body, & headers can be swapped over into my 96 bronco with the 5.8L motor? I found a 95 lightning that is wrecked and the guy is parting it out..you can PM me your thoughts. Thanks!!

Sorry for the hi-jack
Yes, it can be done. They and the cam are the major difference between a regular 5.8 and the lightning engine. personally I would not bother waisting your time. Just buy a set of AFR or trick flow aluminum heads. They will KILL the GT40 heads
I just put explorer seats in my supercab and find them much more comfortable than my worn out original buckets. They were full power, but I converted them to manual. I took the outside recline brackets hinges from the old seats and they bolted right into the explorer seats. I have all the mechanical function as before and can wire up the lumbar support when I am ready. They are taller than the original buckets, but still sit at the same seat height.
I have a thread on doing the swap if you do a search. You can put them in with the full power function, but keep in mind people moving the seats forward and back to gain access to the back seat. Here is a picture of them in my truck.
