Looks like I'm switching forums

Well, the end of model year incentives got to me and I'm now the proud owner of a well-optioned new 2013 F-350 6.7L DRW truck. We've debated the "buy new or keep pouring money in the old" for a while now.

It basically came down to the fact that we're really wearing on the ol' gal tugging around a 15.5K fiver. It hurt after putting so much work ($) into the truck and then turning around and buying another, but at least we are in a position to do so.

As much as I like the 7.3 truck, looking back, it probably would have been better to have purchased a newer truck to begin with. The dealer offered me a paltry $5,000 trade-in on it, so we drove it back home along with the new one.

I appreciate all the super help in here. I'm sure I'll swing through occasionally to see what's happening. If you are interested in the 7.3, drop me a PM.

I have one of those non-rattling 6.7 trucks but I still hang out here with the ''old folks''...No way I could get rid of the farm truck...it is my DD.
Good luck with the new truck, you will like it.
